ABOUT LI NERUBAY
My artistic creations encapsulate a narrative within the confines of abstract painting.
My lifelong journey has led me through various creative pathes. From my early years as a graphic designer to my ventures as a fashion designer, designing collections and fabrics for my fashion brand, "Sugardaddy", art therapist, and interior designer, I have been guided by the quest to reveal the true essence of my inner self connecting and comunicating with the world around me.
Layers of experiences and inspirations are shaping the very core of my artistry. Each layer adds depth, complexity, and a unique hue to my creations. I intricately interlace my diverse passions, blending and crystallizing them into a complex composition.
My artistic journey is one of inner exploration, a pilgrimage into the depths of my being.
Touching and feeling the materials is essential for my creation process. From the canvas itself to the torn fabrics, rusty metals, pieces of paper, photos and more, every material has a unique story to tell. Each piece becomes a memory, a story, an emotional representation, sewn, glued, painted onto the substrate.
These stories, often complex collages or assemblages, unveil concepts, personal and collective emotions, crafting a provocative and unapologetic fantastical realm.
My art is effected by the events and permutations of the outside world and unfolds an invitation for others to embark on their own transformative exploration and feelings recognition.
I am nurturing creativity and embracing the beauty of authenticity, layer by layer I conceal and unveil, bearing witness to a hidden depth, something unreachable yet everything emanates from there.
Creation, a necessity beyond conception, holds therapeutic value and in spite of its inherent chaos it keeps me sane.
